How do I broadcast to
your SHOUTcast - Windows Media

have an account you will need to upload your
media to your account's hard drive. If you do
not have an ftp program let us suggest
File Zilla. This is a
FREE ftp software
program. Our web master and web staff
members use it everyday. Once connected
to our server you simply upload your media
into the media folder .

Streaming Live with Broad Automation is
very simple. It's a matter of stopping Auto DJ
and starting up your DSP (we suggest Shout
Cast DSP). Once you are connected to your
account anything running through your pc is
Live!! Everyone likes to push Spacial
Audio. They have a nice radio software package
but let us suggest using
Mix Time Radio
Software . They have an excellent radio
software package for FREE!! If you donate a
small amount of funds (support the cause) they
upgrade you to PRO and that is very nice. We
tested it and our clients are also using it
(rather then the high priced
SAM).

Another great product we love to use
(pretty much everyday) is a program by DAK
Industries. It's a MP3/ WAV program. With this
program you can do just about anything you want
with recording. Turn records into mp3's/ wav
files. Enhance your media files, edit your
files, and more!!! The program is $24.95 but
well worth it. It even has an option to record
any audio going through your sound
card.

How do I set up your
software, the Auto DJ, & Stream Live through
software?

Streaming with Broad Automation is a
breeze. When searching for the pefect software
to use we looked at many features. Our biggest
goal was to find software that was very easy to
use, the auto dj was easy to navigate, and did
not take hours to update (like other streaming

The Auto DJ takes only minutes to set up.
Once you have uploaded your media (via ftp) you
are only a few minutes away to broadcasting. Our
Auto Dj software is all drag & drop and very
quick. Broad Automation actually tested other
streaming companies and their Auto Dj was
horrible. Reports from broadcasters (now our
customers) said it took them 1/2 a day to update
one station. Not here!! Once you are
familiar with our software it's a
breeze.
